Before I realized I wanted to study architecture, I
thought of going for a career of design. Although, at first I didn´t really
know which area of design I liked better, but with time I started to get very
interested in Interior Design. Later on, I finally realized I wanted to study a
more complete career, that would involve some level of design and also one that
would allow me to create spaces that would help to approach a better life for
people. After some semesters on the career I am currently studying –architecture-,
I understood I was still keen on Interior Design. It´s not like I stopped
liking Architecture, at the contrary: I decided I would finish this career,
which I really enjoy, and then I would take a course or a master on Interior
Design. Therefore, I would complement both areas into my work, creating
architecture integrated with its interiors. I would love to take a course
abroad, maybe in Spain or England, where it would be easier to understand the
words, since I can speak both languages. I think it would be better to take it
when I´m done with the Architecture degree, and maybe even take some tours in Europe
in my free time –which will be a lot more than if I was making the two careers
at the same time-, as if I was just a tourist on a trip.
I agree with ypu when you say that architecture involves a much more complete process and it includes interior design. I could not think architecture as an independent discipline from interior design
ResponderBorrarwow that sound weird but interesting, is normal take a career to get another after but your idea of your future is nice and the interior design too!
