As far as
I´m concerned, my summer plans are staying in Santiago. I have no doubt it will
be good for recharging the energy I lost in 2018 for the upcoming year. It
would be nice to go to the beach or party with friends, but that´s up to the
future. Although, I´m leaving for New Years Eve to Con Con with some friends
from school, even though I don´t think that can be consider as vacations, as I
will have my exams the very next week. My mom said it wasn´t very responsible from
me going to the beach, and I totally agree with her but I really need to enjoy
a little and disconnect from my everyday life, even if it´s just for a weekend.

The saddest
part of my summer is that it starts in January 18th, so it will be
about a month shorter. My dad´s vacations are given by his bosses, so he says
it will be very difficult to have a family vacation if they don´t give him a
summer break that matches with mine. I agree with him up to a point, since we
can still have fun here in Santiago.

Some people
may think that having a vacation in your hometown is not fun enough, but I´m
afraid I disagree. There are not only fun stuff to do inside the city, as there
are some other completely different places you can visit, such as Santuario de
la Naturaleza or one of the many hills you can hike. There are hundreds of
possibilities!
I've spent plenty of holidays in Santiago and if you find new things to do, you can have a pretty fun time! Happy Holidays!
